thanks! would i need to change the tank? or drain it and fit a diesel pump?

hiya i got it very wet few week ago lol the bottom end sized so replaced it so it has a new gasgit ect. am guessing maybe valve rings or valves either 1 is gona be costly so am thinking about diesel lump plus finding parts for the mpi is a pain lol

Hello i have a 2.0 mpi disco wich is now blowing lots! of blue smoke the underneath and body are spotless so am looking to put a diesel prob 300tdi engine in any1 know if i would need the gear box aswell? and to weld new mounts and if i would need the exhaust aswell ect...any info would help :)...

any one have a heater blower for a 200tdi disco?

would say starter motor is fine :) sounds like Sticky solenoid should be fine now or strip it down and give it a good clean

i have been told the mountings are different

my mates is the same so far we have learnt that the 200 and 300 are NOT the same and its hard to find 1 for the 200tdi i will be fitting it in the next few days i have been told you need to take the dash out and others have said u dont need to soooo...i will soon find out lol the garage down the...

try the earth strap for the starter motor good conections..ect..?

hiya :welcome2: we are adi and katy we have had a 1994 disco mpi for about 2 month allready done some green laning been to tong and off roading at crosshills twice :) and flooded the engine last week opsss my disco not a fan of water lol so spent all last week rebuilding the engine but hey is...
