smoke test limit for turbo engine is 3.00 so passed ok, 76% braking eficiendy, ie you brakes are applying 76% force of the weight of your car so thats good and a 4% imbalance left to right so thats nowt to worry about, your allowed 25% imbalance(pull to left or right)

the new diesel smoke testers only need one light blip of the throttle now, if it fails that test then a further warmup to get the oil to 80 degress and five blips, no more than 2500rpm, thats how our new smoke meter works

slimjim, whatever lights u get, make sure theyre mounted where theyre not gonna get damaged and use a relay! seen so many melted looms where ppl have wired them straight into the existing circuts! (not just on landys, so called proffesional built rally cars)

i put the wipacs on cuz i needed a cheap set after busting the previous lamps off road (cibies) if them piaa,s had been that price 12months ago id have gone for them, safe to say that the wipacs are mounted a bit further back now!

i agree piaa's are top class but u cant go wrong with the wipacs for a budget set of lamps with excellent light output, at the end of the day u gets what u pay for and thats a good price on ebay for the piaas, (cibies on me rally car cost 60 each!)

yes, get some but make sure the plastic grilles are on properly, lost one of mine first time out!! i think paddocks sell em for about 40 quid

mine are single filament 100w bulbs, they light the lanes up ok
