    S3 capping on S2

i can't answer for sure but i would think they're pretty much the same parts. however i replaced my rear corners, the panels either side of the back door, with ones with tailgate latches on, and i found the the holes did not line up at all. Made me think that they were drilled onto the body...

Tail and brake lights simultaneously gone on one side?

my first thought then was to check the bulb, followed by following the wiring back and looking for any breaks or problems

    My 109" Series 3 :)

mines grey and i really toyed with the idea of leaving my doortops black and then fitting a black canvas. for me, solid black doesn't suit a series like it suits a defender, i think you need to keep it twotone if you do it black, and make sure the cappings stay silver

Fuel Tank size for S3 LWB SW - BRITPART doesn't fit!

i doubt its your fault, if it's in a blue box there will be something wrong, you might not spot it at first but soon enough it will go wrong.

1975 series 3 rebuild ongoing (lots of photos)

also, made a major gaffe today which i did't realise until i'd stripped everything down. i can't take the other side out as it's parked too near to the fence and i can't move as its on axle stands. so i'll have to finish the whole job on this side before i can do the other

1975 series 3 rebuild ongoing (lots of photos)

Got a bit more technical today, i stripped down the front N/S swivel and assessed the damage, and replaced the stub axle. Its one of those jobs i've known needed doing all along, and i was really wishing i could open it all up and find it factory fresh, but it wasn't as the photos show...

    Cat flap door

they're not that rare but people seem willing to pay high prices, i had a search set up on ebay to alert me when they came up. Mine was £30 and i nearly bought another for £25 not too long ago. Just keep looking. also consider finding someone who breaks series landys up

    Series 3 88" Hoop Set

because that's always the bloody way. might be easier to build it up part by part. there was a guy asking what his bikini hood set was worth, might be a start.

    heater upgrade

Did you put that together yourself? did the box need any mods or was there room for a second rad in there? I've really got my eye out for another one now. Looks like a simple mod to do.

are they supposed to just screw tightly onto the ends of the prongs on the support arms? I've only got one arm right now as the other has a broken bracket. I don't want to risk that thing crashing onto my head, it's not light. Struts seem really easy to get hold of, i just need to work out...

make sure you're definitely not going to need to pull it up again if you do that. are you nearly there with this then?

    Indicators

mine came today, the quality looks a little better, the plastic is more supple than the ****part ones and the wiring seems longer, but there aren't any bulbs with these. I've not fitted yet so can't say more

1975 series 3 rebuild ongoing (lots of photos)

I finally got the top door fitted today, which means it's now more or less sealed up for the winter. Wasn't easy to hang it on my own, i was very worried about dropping it Inside Hinge Close up side view outside view. I had to do a lot of fettling to get the tailgate to fit...

    heater upgrade

i like this idea, for some reason i thought doing this would need some complicated plumbing, i never considered it was as simple as that

    upgraded my blower motor

I'm interested in something like this, could you post the details of the specific parts you bought. what was the total cost? and have you run a pipe for the air intake or just left it open? any more pictures of the setup would be good too. thanks
