is that vehicle width or roof width? if you put a disco rack next to a fender rack you would see a bit of a difference

235/70 are the same height as 205/80. 235/85 are a better size for defenders, standard size for 110s iirc and will give more clearance, fill the arches better, make your speedo more accurate and give better economy at motorway cruising speeds.

The issue you may have is although they dont look blue if you are caught with them flashing or asked to put them on if pulled you could end up in deeper **** than...

you can interpret any way you see fit but if/when you are caught i dont think plod will understand. a friend of my brother in law recently was forced to remove his blue interior lights after being told he would be charged if he didnt. like I said before good luck :rolleyes:
