Not sure about 300tdi but some radios will lock out and will need to be left switched on for about half an hour before you can enter the code.

It's possible to be getting low mpg depending on tyres. With 285/75 muds I would get around 60miles for £20 (less than 20mpg)

Will you be having them rolled or bent to match the lines of a disco? Unless you can buy the steel in bulk ill be surprised if you can make a big profit and have you even considered the postage costs for something so heavy?

1500 for a disco with electric issues, water ingress and a possible rear diff problem among others? I know who ill be speaking to next time i want to sell up ;)
