    Insurance for a 90

you would not lose any no claims but you would not gain the year that you are currently paying for if that makes sense.

    rear rubber doughnut?

wouldn't go polybush even if they did. polybush is much stiffer than rubber iirc and the donut needs to flex. Polybush fittings dont tend to last as long as oe so couldnt see a donut lasting long at all. just get a decent donut or swap the prop for a 200tdi & flange and get rid completely.

    300tdi starting

bugger that, takes far too long (especially if a/c pump is fitted). personally would check fluids, make sure battery is good and fire it up ;)

How much do you pay for your SVO

Not a question for you home bio users but been thinking. Used to run my disco and fender on svo/derv mix up to 90/100% at times but gave up when veg nearly caught up with the price of diesel. With the possible faults caused by using svo i didnt see it as cost effective any more (gummed...

    Raised suspension and towing

get an adjustable tow hitch. that way if you feel the need to lift your disco you can drop the height of the hitch for towing. Or even look at a height adjustable removable tow hitch so you dont have it attached if you are off roading/laning.

    Diff Lock by pass

what is a diff lock bypass? diff lock is operated manually using the lever and the only electrical connection is the switch for the dash light iirc.

how to tell which engine ?

the advert says its a td so would be expecting at least that. tbh if it was a 200 then the trader would be asking more and i wouldnt worry about him increasing the price. traders will ask what they think its worth. couple of checks. rust - bulkhead, door bottoms, chassis...

    Replacement front SEATS

Just put a set of disco seats in mine, bolted some box section to the runners and have attached them using 8mm riv nuts through the front of the seat box and 6mm bolts where the seat box attaches to the bulkhead. tried to make them easy to remove so that I can get to the battery if needed...

    Disco 1 aftermarket stereo??

there is plenty of threads but basically all you need to do is find the amp in the passenger footwell and you can connect the radio directly to the speakers from there. When I did mine I used the existing plug for power and ran some new wiring up to the back of the head unit for the...

I said hmmm because you are charging 30 to clear the faults that could be done for less by the owner. If you were offering to fix or identify then its a different story. Ill bet you don't offer any warranty, these codes have a tendency to reappear so if someone pays for your service and then...
