They must have been ****ed when they made this car. A child would struggle for access in that engine bay.

Its unlikely the track rod end as both lower wishbone and both track rod ends are brand new done in the last 6 months

I've only had the car 6 months to date so I am unsure how old they are , and the mot was done in my ownership around 2 months ago and pass with only 2 advisories which have now all been fixed And yes all under trays are still fitted.

It will 100% improve the look of the engine bay also , but mainly it's preventative maintenance fit those and you will never have cracking issues. No worries mate good luck with your build 👍

I was searching for engine upgrades/ preventative maintenance parts and these came up. It's not something I plan on doing soon just something for the future.

I've always considered preventing better than treating, so I'd say they are more than worth it and will stop you getting stranded.

Hello all I've been looking online and have found aluminium inlets for the discovery 3 to replace the original plastic ones but I can only find ones for the 3 liter. Does anyone know if land rover changed the inlet sizes for the 3 liter as I have the 2.7 tdv6?

Yes the original wiper arm , the motor had worn away at the hole. I did try to really tighten down on the wiper arm today and still no luck it just made an awful noise and didn't move.

Well an update to the fault codes , we did all the steering gators , track rod ends and suspension arms. All fault codes have gone except the can bus error code. But for some reason the dashboard is still displaying hdc ,DSC and air suspension inactive.

It was at first a snap on diagnostic tool , then it was a professional garage tool as the snap on wouldn't access what we needed.
