I have limited information on it but you have the main motherboard on top of the battery, and just behind the lense on the device there is a second smaller one which controls the camera.
We just pushed it forward and it came on
Scratch all that , we managed to fix it.
The motherboard that the actual camera is connected to had a poor connection that when pushed forward made the camera work.
And the fault code (companion camera input failure) has disappeared.
Hi there , I replaced the battery and it's still not connecting, the only reason I'm trying to fix this is to trouble shooting a canbus error.
Is there a module for it ?
Hello again
Fairly recently my discovery 3 has started displaying the message ENGINE SYSTEMs FAILURE then I lose all power and the car sounds like a Harley Davidson
( running on two cylinders)
The only recent work done to the car is
New disks and pads
K&N air filter
Half a silicone hose...
I couldn't say as I haven't been present when it was done though we are all long term land rover owners so I'd Imagen they did. (As it was our mate that does them)
Well it was 2 different sorts
One was a snap on
The other was from our mates work as he is an MOT tester. Laptop type that generally does every car going.
Would it benefit from going to a land rover specialist.
😂The only reason I mentioned that is when my dad came home to show us the new car, I found that the headlights had been zip tied on.
I thought my discovery 3 was bad enough for irritating faults
I guess you just start with what doesn't work right ?
The only other thing that stands out is the front two headlights, dipped beam on one head light has a yellow beam the other has a white/blue colour.
