Im picking my new disco up tonight so my old one is being sold as spares or repairs. Its 1992 200tdi. Its done over 180000 miles and the engine is noisy but its been like this since i bought it 7 years ago and iv never had any problems. Same with the gearbox. Its never let me down. The brakes...

I know :( its sad to see :( but il have the new oneas soon as shes ready providing the ppi money has cleared in to my account. Lol

A couple of weeks after my wheel came off i got a message off the girl who lives 3 doors away asking if i could help her. She was on her way to wales and as she pulled out of the petrol station her wheel fell off too. Luckily she wasnt too far away so i could help her. Coincidence or suspicious lol.

It was the nearside front. Had a bit of what i thought was speed wobble just before it happened but thats it..id done over 100 mile jist before that

Ok..so driving down the m6, the landy starts to judder. Next i know im oit of control with no feckin wheel..manage to stop in the hard shoulder...but no sign of the wheel..almost ripped my wing off though. No idea what happened...could the nuts have loosened themselves over time or do you reckon...
