got hub caps today and yes they are a good 1/2 inch shorter so when i get them on tomorrow then problem sorted !!! i hope !!! i have refurbed the wheels and they look great on it thats why i want them on

is your light on the the dash for the 4x4 ? is it selected right (have a jiggle about with it ) does the prop on the rear move (rotate) by hand ? rear diff ok ?

what difference will the thickness of the drive member and hub and cv have on me puttin freestyle wheels on ??? they dont rub or catch anything and look good apart from having no centre caps on at the mo (as hub covers are about 2 or 3 mils) and the shorter hub caps off a later defender (1993...

im just after a set to put my freestyle wheels on my defender when im off roading to widen stance of the bloody thing so not going to pay the bloody earth for em got some lined up on ebay just waiting to jump in at the end see if 50-60 smacker gets em

ive being told that i can fit shallower hub caps off a later model to my defender 90 1991 this is so i can get my wheel caps on my freestyle wheels anybody done this or are they different !!!! thanks

james i have being told that the shorter hub caps off a 1993-1998 will fit my defender 90 1991 so i can fit my wheel caps on freestyle wheels do you know if this is right or would you do you think i should buy one to test it !!! any thoughts mate thanks ian

i have a defender 90 200tdi 1992 i was wondering if i could put shallower hub caps on it ? so that i can put my freestyle wheel centres in !!! as i hate the sight of them without em !! so as anyone done this and if so how did the do it and were did they get the hub caps thanks :confused:

its a condenser for sure disreguard if you have no probs funny place for it though !!

sounds like a fooked clutch kit to me i would change for a better upgrade mate and people put screws and nuts on push rod/cylinder when the clutch is at the end of its life (why if you have to change kit) ??????? ie bodge to sell !!!!!
