belt with a great big hammer ,plenty of wd 40 or simular and good to try tighten first as this will break the rust on threads,then release make sure you dont round bolts ,use a long bar with your socket as rachet no good for the job hope this helps

sure you can run without thermostat as the engine will just curculate the same but wont have to wait for it to open ,will take longer for the engine to warm up i would try that first then flush the engine through

yes as wear and tear maybe **** in carb blocking a jet but defo carb prob mate

carb needs setting up air/feul mixture sounds wrong to me you could check timing but as you say it starts and runs give that one a miss you need to turn the air screw out slowly a CLOCK WISE and the fuel in ANTI CLOCKWISE slowly while the engine is running when you are doing pull throttle...

just a sensor wire for other models so forget about it
