Lol, i once saw a recording for this, on wheeler dealers, try searching on youtube... he did / had exactly same issue.. the wires were disconnected once the satnav in the boot was extracted, his screen turned white, think he ordered new software from ebay?

Lol, glad ur ok.. yeah the site did play up last night.. i would look at the connectors to the starter mate, reason why im sticking with that, is my previous did exact same, sometimes after leaving for a few hours, would start.. my assumptions are that the relay or rocker switch in yer starter...

I wouldnt say its the battery, as you wouldnt get the clicking.. that to me sounds like the starter motor. are your lights ok if you turn them on?..

whacking the starter would normally do the job, although whacking, id say not as hard... this is done as to un stick the solenoid inside, as with time can gunk / stick... so the tap of a say... hammer generally used to free the sticky solenoid inside. you could even try (if its not your battery)...
