the headlights have slight play in them, which failed its MOT. not much but enough. how can i stop this. i know it sounds stupid, but its annoying.

just been out to clear all the snow off the 90 and make sure shes still runing. went to get in and the drivers side foot well mat was full of water, and more was still dripping in. im guessing its from the foot of snow al over it. it also does it a little when it rains. is there any cure for this?

spent the day with a mate fixing my defender to get it through the MOT. managed to do the handbrake, PAS sector shaft, indicators, headlamps, and washer jet. and all surounded by 2 inches of snow freezing our tits off in got knows what temperature. also went and invested in some new tyres, 235...

thats why i need to get it on, bloody MOT man. :( anyone else got any ideas? also how much do u reckon brookwells are gonna rip me off for?

been getting the 90 ready for its retest today and got a new nozzle for the washer jet. but it just wouldnt go on, and in the end it broke due to a bit to much force. gonna get a new one from brookwells tomorrow. but before we break another can anyone tell me how the bloody thing goes on...

need new tyres for the 90 due to two of them being MOT failures due to slashes on the inside of the tyres. the remaining two tyres have got roughly 5 mills of tred left, maybe less. would it be safe to put two brand new tyres on as well as the used ones, considering the difference in tred...

sounds a bit to much for me. found new PAS boxes on ebay for under 100 so i think thats the plan :)

ive worked it out that for me and mates to do all the repairs ourselves, plus 5 new tyres it would cost roughly 180 more then the mechanic would charge even without the tyres. so i think thats the plan.

been told by the MOT man that my steering box has movment between the sector shaft and the drop arm. will this have buggered the box? if not how easy is it to fix? cheers flash

another question, if the PAS box is nackered how much will it cost to replace, and how easy is it to do?
