Hello and welcome along. Post this in the Freelander section you'll get more help mate. Also put in your location.

There was a problem with swarf in the power steering system, and that would trash the seals in the rack and cause problems. Not a lot of info on LZ about, but have a look on freel2.com, loads of info on there. Hope you get it sorted.

Indi, have you tried the osram nightbreaker plus bulbs? I found they made a big difference. I need to type quicker :D

I believe it's because the high and dipped beam are in the same bulb, it would get to hot and continually blow bulbs if both were on at the same time. The facelift has 2 separate bulbs.

Mine was the same mate, I'm sure it's just the face lift where the dip beam stays on.
