What have you done to your Freelander today

Had it serviced, along with an engine flush as well as auto-box fluid change. Can hardly hear it now and no jerking on up or down changes.

Replaced off-side passenger window mech', easy-peasy, nice and smooth now. May just do the other one as that seems on its way out.

    V6 Kick-down

When I use the kick-down on my V6 Freelander, depending how far I press the pedal depends how many gears it drops down. If I don't floor it it seems to go down 1 gear and accelerates fine, changing up smoothly and on going. If I floor it of it goes again dropping 2(?) gears but when it...

More what I haven't done. Not topped coolant up since getting stat' changed 'bout 500mile ago. Did manage 27 to the gallon on a run the west Mids and back A16/M6. Best I've got out of it.

What was the cause of your 3,2,1 Amigos

I had 2 Amigos - TC and HDC. When I braked there were no brake lights unless I took my foot off the pedal and applied them again, at which point the amigos went out and brake light came on. Change the brake light switch and all is now good. Tip for when fitting. Push the brake pedal down...

    Auto- how many gears?

And don't forget the torque converter will lock up in 5th (and I think lower gears?) once you are on a steady throttle, you will see the revs drop by around 300 or so.

Anyway to see the main beam blue light?

Get a pair of those sticky pads they use in hospital for the heart monitors so they have wires, extend the wires from the indicator on the dash so you can plug them in when you get in the car. Place the pads on your gonads.

    MG ZT 4x4

I think when BM sold them off there was a clause saying they couldn't build/market a 4x4 as Ford bought LR. Think that's right??? No plan as far as I am aware, this was for assessment only I believe. It was originally a V8, easier to convert to AWD as the V8s are of course RWD.

    MG ZT 4x4

It had to have a new IRD and VCU by all accounts, despite only covering around 3k miles. Strange for such low mileage. The owner runs Summit Garage near Dudley in the west Mids, you can see the garage sign in the first pic.
