Thanks, need to sort out the fuel cradle, total rusted since the last mot, cant see how it passed like that to be honest, I will try and slide a plate in-between tank and frame and secure, then remove the old rust hopefully. Unless there is a commonly known way to repair?

Just joined, thought that I would say Hi to everyone! Recently purchased a Freelander 1 td4 adventurer 2005, this would be the second 4x4 I have owned, the first being a ford maverick 2.7tdi for the last 10 years. I Hope that this vehicle will last as long if not longer. regards Russell
