    That's correct, I have the alko set up on mine 2005 td4 with a swift 530, tows no problem, the alko stabilisers are much better than the older type spring ones, I remember the time when they used to have a chain on them that was lifted with brute force and placed on a bracket on the caravan...

    sorry didn't get chance to take photo, will do on the weekend, out of interest got a quote from landrover to remove. supply and fit a new injector, £674.46 they would do it although would prefer I had a diagnostic first at an extra £140. That's a bit steep for me!

    Thanks, just undone the nuts on the injector, one nut was a 8mm with an attached washer type. came undone easy the other one was a 10mm head which also came undone easy, so before I attempted to start engine to lift injector a bit, I thought I would see if the torx bolts would move one did easy...

    thanks for the reply, I have just done a leak off test and it shows on cranking and running that injector 1 is almost double what the other 3 are individually, So am I right in presuming that it is injector 1 with the fault? and not an electrical /sensor issue before I attempt to remove?

    I too bought one of these had a terrible job to try and get it cut, as the big well known name locksmiths would not do it, took it to a local non franchise shop, said he would attempt to cut it, no guarantee or refund.so took the chance and he told me that the key blade was a few mm too short...

    My freelander td4 2005 is going to be £285 insurance £200 and my little Daewoo Matiz 800cc 2004 is £180 insurance £195 either one is cheap or the other one is dear!

    are that tool.... I just used two wedges either side of the latch, bonnet didn't move but the plastic grill pushed down enough for a thin 10mm ractchet spanner.

    check the little vacuum pipe is sealed off tight, so no air can be sucked in

    I done the exact same thing when I changed mine, just a suggestion look at the bonnet release handle in the car....has it come off the cable support before it fits on the plastic handle? if not try removing the handle and pull on the cable with a pair of pliers. then once the bonnet is open...

    yes I agree too, I don't like the standard jack, I much prefer to carry a trolley jack in my fishtank.....as you call it :).......I think my wheel nuts are 22mm ?
