    car transporter trailer recomendations?

The Brian James tri-axle is brilliant, that's what I'd buy if I could justify owning a trailer.

    Good old land rovers

They do break, it's just that when they do it's something big and expensive. At least with a land rover it's usually little and often :)

    The Devonshire Disco!

Glad you managed to save it, that ford looked serious!! How do you find the LESs in the spots for giving glare off the bonnet?

hardly no brakes after fitting stainless hoses

I've heard a theory before where if you bleed manually, you push the pedal beyond it's normal travel, and therefore push the piston inside the master cylinder further than it would usually go into the unused area of the bore and the seal can become damaged or flip. I've never really been...

    What colour?

Doesn't look like coniston but it's hard to tell from the picture. It seems to be darker and has more of a blue tint in it than coniston does. Coniston is like grass green.

    BCU Repair or Replace?

To be honest, we fumbled through the programming as we weren't familiar with it. That's a good shout though, will plug it in again and do that. When you say set it to "always disarm with key" what does that mean? Surely the key is the only way to disarm it?

    BCU Repair or Replace?

Replacement BCU fitted this afternoon and programmed using nanocom. Now all sorted! Fingers crossed it stays that way... I ended up replacing the RF receiver too as it was hit and miss programming the key into it. Thanks for all the advice

hi im new to the forum just want to know your thought on 300tdi in a d2 body

Disco 2 body is longer than a 300. Not sure it the body mounts are in the same places or not. Obviously the rear most ones won't touch a d1 chassis to start with. Wiring for the lights may need to be extended at the back too. Not sure if there is enough slack to reach the extra distance...

    Wheeler Dealers

Haha. Since then, all he seems to paint himself is satin black. Everything else goes to a painter. It annoys me that all the interesting jobs go to a specialist i.e. gearbox work, head rebuilds etc.

hi im new to the forum just want to know your thought on 300tdi in a d2 body

    Are you talking about putting a 300 lump into a d2 or putting a d2 body on a 300 d1 chassis?

    BCU Repair or Replace?

Thanks for that. I thought myself it's the BCU too, as I never had the crossed B before, and the only thing changed was the BCU. Time for me to start researching Hawkeye vs. Nanocom then......
