Hi all, Went to the dealer today for some bits but when it came to ordering a set of fan belts for my 1995 defender 300TDi 110 HCPU but the problem was that there were 2 different belts types listed and because the belts that are on it are non - land rover, so i couldn't check the numbers...

when i did my first service the day i bought my defender it had done about 15000-20000 miles since its last change, anyways, go for a drive to make the engine hot then straight after rolling into your driveway, get the plug out because the plug should come out because of the thermal expansion...

What do you all think would be best, chequer plate or rubber matting or something else? Does anyone know of a decent supplier of these materials?

mine whines when pulling away but settles down so it must be normal, either that or we both got problems

on most cars if it has disc brakes at the rear then its usually a cable

my dad when he drives my defender just pushes it down but he doesn't seen to think its a problem, guess its just one of those things you need to live with. (1995 Defender 110 300TDi)
