LPG MPG - On Board Computer L322

There's a thread on the site about this already. Gives you all the technical info about the MPG display and how it calculates. I have LPG and use the average MPG reading as a guide only as its not really accurate. Your best bet is to use the trip meter and get your calculator out for the next...

    Rear airspring access

Thinking of doing the soapy water test and replacing O rings on the rear air springs. I can barely see the the spring air hose through the gap in the wheelarch. Has anyone done this fix? Is it better to take the wheelarch liner off to get access. Can't see how I can do it otherwise.

mot failure, now abs and traction fault, help...

I've got the same fault, but it only comes up once in ablue moon. Beep on the dashboard and a warning message ABS fault then TRACTION FAILURE. If I turn the ignition off and then back on again, it cleared.... until next time. Is this the same problem? If so, can you guide me where to look...

P38 Air con compressor shim fix?

In the engine compartment, look at the bulkhead & there are two pipes with what look like big tyre dust caps. Unscrew one of them to reveal a valve which you can press down with a screwdriver. Do this for just an instant and if there is gas you will hear the release of pressure and will...

    Air suspension

Take a look here. EAS Test and Fix Do the leak test and spend a couple of quid on 'o' rings first. I had a leaky spring and my P38 looked like it was kneeling to pray every morning. Fixed now for a few quid and 20 mins work. I was overcomplicating it, expecting it to be a bugger of a job...

    Air con both pipes hot

Filled it up yesterday. Yes, plenty of pressure there. WIll a Birmingham Screwdriver do the trick?

    Air con both pipes hot

Bugger! Not working again. Both pipes hot. No sign of a leak and there is bright yellow fluid under pressure when I press the small 'tyre type' valve. But its not bloody working :frusty: Any idea how I determine whether the compressor is working? With the engine running, I can see the...

    Air con both pipes hot

Just tried it. The AUTO graphic does come on, but appears only when there are numbers representing the required temp. It disappears when I put the temp to LO. The blower speed bars do show and disappear when I hit AUTO and then the fan speed reduces to almost nothing (it might even be...

    Air con both pipes hot

Got to Kwik Fit just as they opened up at 8.30 this morning and they plugged the aircon into their charger unit. Completely empty - but no leaks. I guess the previous keeper was just too tight to get this done! £45 to recharge it and another £20 to clean the system of all the bugs and...

    Air con both pipes hot

Checked the valve core as suggested by Irishrover and no release of gas, so I'm assuming its empty. Popped into local Kwik Fit, but too late to have it done today. However, what they told me confirmed other entries - £45 for a re-gas. It takes about 45 minutes and will include a leak test...

    Air con both pipes hot

I know this is repeat business for you elder statesmen, but I did read the threads - just couldn't find one that answered the issue of both aircon pipes being hot and what that might mean. You might think it tedious, but your answers are really helpful and means that many of us can keep our...
