Nitriding or summat maybe, but they would all need to be treated or they would all wear out in nothing flat. usually heat treament, induction heating for instance. And as mentioned above they have to be run in properly with the special lubricant.

Not knocking South Korea in the slightest. Just that postage and customs can really take the pea. I was quoted £1.65 for a bolt that keeps the oil pump on and £20 odd for postage from the UK to France. So from the UK to SK may well be an absolute fortune.
