Are you going to re tighten the bolts? Never done this on a K series myself but seems significant that you and DD felt they were not done up sufficiently.

I was agreeing with the view of why buy another engine if the one you have works perfectly well. I've not intention of ever buying a back up engine for a car - unless I've good reason to think its about to pop.
