Not sure if this is a stupid question or not, certianly feels it is. I'm putting on a new bonnet to my lightweight, the current one has been drilled - is this to let air in or heat out??? So i thought I would fit an air scoop, but then I thought turn it around so it doesn't catch the flying...

LightWeight series is Mrytle, as in Bog Mrytle becuase you will often find her in a big bog. And the 110 is Karis, short for Carcharodon carcharias which is latin for great white:D

Why not get the heated seat covers you just plug in.

It's not difficult to change a uj. Basic tools, - jack, hammer, vice, socket set, circlip pliers & a grease gun. Keep it regualry greased.

I see lots of posts on flickering handbrake lights, and a number of people replaced the switch. But what is the part number for the switch? Is there a parts catalogue I can download?

Prop shaft UJ or A frame ball joint will clunk when taking up load from neutral into drive. i.e. pulling away or gear changes. As for the whine in 5th ????????????

Thanks for the comments - this system has been upgraded and runs 24 spline - I got it out eventually. Got my job done pushed it back in by hand and it's stuck again??? It's just where the splines of the shaft go into the splines of the diff. It all looked tobe ok on the diff end. And to answer...

That is a bonnie looking machine. A disco axle will have stronger half shafts for the V8 monster.

Armed with a Haynes Manual & multimeter I set to work and soon found that there was a lack of power at the main relay, power was getting to inertia switch but not coing out of it. Luckily I had a spare inertia switch off the donor bulkhead and my landy has come back to life :D

Cut them shorter so the they inside on the wheel arches and work as a shelf.

Its a metal bar with bent ends and a slight dog leg half way along. You will also need the 2 spring clips to secure the metal bar in place. There should be 2 of these bars. 1 for lock ech and another for the pus button. From memory the catch end for the lock barrel has 2 holes to choose from...
