Took the car for a long tow start. Rpm on nano com read zero the hole time. What would cause this? Crank sensor was swapped and ecu tests were OK but it was never fitted to another vehicle to make sure it did work.

My temp gauge (TD5 defender 110) rarely gets as high as half way. Even when running without a viscous fan. You could get a garage to put a thermal camera heat thingy onto it for accurate temperature measurements. Maybe something will stand out.

If your running a 90 I wouldn't bother. To go vented you need to either get the spacers and split the callipers. Or for all it's worth buy the wider callipers.
