Rear brake pads for my D1(got some)

(Now bought a set) My Discovery had its mot yesterday and he said the rear pads were getting close to the limit. So just thought I'd ask if anyone has a set I could buy, before looking elsewhere. It's a 94 300 TDI D1, if that makes any difference. Thanks

Discovery 5 Discovery 2018 Engine Failure | Replacement

I've seen this type of (steam) when an engine is cold or the outside temperature is well into the minus degrees. Are you doing short journeys, where condensation builds in the exhaust, this can be an issue. But I drive many thousands of miles a year and I can't say I've noticed this after a long...

Shirley not. It's the cam tail that triumph used on a few of their cars. Spitfires, GT6 and Stag that I know of

£12 or £20,000, they should be in a good state. If the engine is like that, what is lurking beneath the shiny paint. They make tens of thousands of ££'s from those raffles, so the cars should be in a good state. I would have said something personally.

Getting Gwen the Mini to Run.

You said you won the car, did it come directly from UK Minis with all those taped wires. Was it running well when you got it, how long has the car been sitting.

I think It was Stanley who said about a can of petrol directly fed into the carb. Make sure it's fresh fuel, this modern stuff goes off quickly.

My GT6 is the same year as that and has hazard's as standard. Didn't it have them fitted?

Sounds like it's more trouble than it's worth. I can come and take it off your hands and I'll give you £20 for it. I know that's generous, but I'm like that 😄 Some good advice above, my mini has the 998 engine.

    Disco 1 Saggy seat

Thanks, the old split one looks like the same rubber diaphragm that I have just got. Although mine came from a company that produces rubber items, so maybe better built Fingers crossed

    Disco 1 Saggy seat

I was in the car the other day and noticed the passenger front seat had lost it's base support. Looking underneath, I could see some bits hanging down. Had a Google and found that the diaphragms can split. I ordered one from an online company, It's arrived today, and looks pretty substantial, so...
