I can tell you that the Durite sender is the same thread as the Defender 300TDi because that is what I am running (and very good it is too). Based on the assumption that 200TDi & 300TDi senders are a different thread then yes, you will need an adaptor.

As I said, I bought mine off Ebay but it wasn't listed as for a 300TDi or anything like that, it was a generic adaptor and you have to choose the correct threads at each end.
