Did a simple service (runs so much smoother!), found that the foam under the footwell carpets is sodden and fell through my boot floor a bit - forgot it was rotten:doh:. Then went for a good long drive with a few fields thrown in to make sure transfer box is all working.

Gave my 200tdi a good service today, running a lot smoother but - after changing fuel filter couldn't get any fuel to come out of the bleed screw on the filter housing using the primer lever on lift pump. Lever definatley felt like it was engaging. Tried turning it over and still no fuel...

Exactly the same problem here. I aint investigated yet.

Got a mate that used to be a welder so hopefully he can make sure i dont buy a hunk o junk and gi me a few tips to get me started. Cheers for any advice lads, did a bit of brazing many years ago but never touched a welder. Always up for learning new skills though.
