    just a thought tdi into a d2.

I dont think the 300 would be "enough" to pull the extra weight the D2 has over the D1.

    MAF Sensor

Leaving it unplugged simply puts the ECU into a "default" fuelling map, so you will basically be a little less economical, probably about 1-2 MPG

bursts of noise from suspension compressor

The car can only level itself by dropping the rear end if its been loaded up, and at the point it only opens the valves to release air an lower the rear. The compressor cannot be operated with the engine of (lift the rear) so when it does make the noise, its when it was trying to level it up but...

bursts of noise from suspension compressor

probably did not make it clear, the SLS light Im refering to I fitted myself as a mod to the supply line of the compressor so I can monitor when its working, this is an easy way to keep an eye on its "normal" operation and when its running to much, ie if you have a leak or the compressor is...

HID Kit on TD5 Facelift Legal?

whether they are illegal or not or even an MOT failure is down to the "users" discretion tbh, the fact is HID's simply dont work properly with headlamps designed for halogen filaments, bloody things should be banned imo.

    chipped my disco td5

I "assuming" this is something you have plugged in yourself between the airlfow meter etc. Just be aware this is the most "crude" way of chipping your car, infact its not really a chip as that refers to a remap done properly in the ECU. What you have now simply tricks the ECU to open the...

bursts of noise from suspension compressor

Its not a "normal" noise unfortunately, its the sound of the compressor when it's a little "worn". It should be much quieter in opreation. I could get my old one to do at will. it normally happens when you park the car up and switch off the engine quickly whilst the compressor is still self...

    WARNING: Nanocom ACE Bug

Seems good news :) As your in contact with them / him Gerhard and instead of me pinging of another e-mail (which im sure they have hundreds) ask them if there is any plan to continue to add the autobox and SRS to Nanocom 1 as Mattia was going to.

    WARNING: Nanocom ACE Bug

Unfortunately, there is LOTS of bugs in the original Nanocom software, and according to Mattia, he was in the process of doing one final update / fix to sort them out as well as adding the autobox and airbags for the D2 to the V1 unit. I doubt this will happen now, its a shame because I like the...

    Foundry 4x4

Thats because I bet you still have the factory shocks fitted, and they are "topping out". Not good tbh as it can damage the shocks, you should consider +2" shocks atleast for the rear if you have retained the air with a spacer lift

    Foundry 4x4

Fitted a set to a friends car, seems VERY good value to me......only time will tell how the springs will hold up. I bought my shocks from foundry, polite, speedy service imo.
