    All parts have been either genuine or OEM, the dizzy was from Britpart, but an OEM unit, dash says car has done 145k, wouldnt suprise me if cam is are worn, Compression test it is, By all means, i'm not expecting to do wheel spins or anything, but for it to be faster than my 05 td4 freelander...

    So went to fit my bull bars which I bought and then refurbed, Have I missed something or does that not not look like it's for a RRC ? Guessing it may fit a Discovery 1 ? Was tempted to weld it on, however I thought I'd better ask if there was ever a kit to fit the thing ?

    As you can see, She now lives and all my hard work has paid off, Video picks up a whine that I have yet to trace, seems to be either water or oil pump Dash is back together after some scum tried to rob her early in January, trying to find how i took her apart took a bit of head scratching...

    Hello chaps, Got my self a replacement B&W box as mine cant hold its drink (casing is cracked and not repairable by myself) Anything i need to do when replacing the lump (and i do mean lump) other than put fresh oil in ? Looking at the gurt old thing it looks like its going to be a sod !

    Disco 1 Britpart standard suspension - my thoughts

    Their metal work isnt bad, avoid the ultra cheap suspension parts, the "OE" gas struts are plain awful, had britpart springs on both my disco and RRC, never had anything back to say about them, just need bedding in like all stuck

    Put back on the ramp, run the car in drive, should expose anyodd noises, Trasfer boxes are rare to go wrong, although you have no idea of the life that car has had, IYK500010 should of been used, look for that on your invoice,

    Todays work done, all belts changed and tensioned correctly, white work shirt ruined lol Need to tidy the engine bay up, HT leads are getting in the way, Tomorrow, coolant hoses !

    Any ideas on how to free the old latches, soaked them in WD40 and still cant free them, the book of lies isnt helpful and its been so long since we've done on at work, help

    Everything to do with the car is ****e, Every screw, nut and or bolt have either sheared or have the strength of cheese, running out of welding consumables getting things free... At least I have a shiny thing to go on my engine
