Fitted the digital aerial to the new touch screen radio I put in at the weekend.

Fit new EBC green stuff pads and new brake caliper slider/ guides. fitted a new touch screen radio as the last touch screen is now been reduced to just a radio onces I up graded my iPhone. So that radio will now be on an auction site.

Found the wiring for the face lift dimmer switch.

That is a different diagram than what I have. The switch on the face lift model has three wires. The pre face lift looks like one wire and at first chance looks easy to retro fit see as it is only one wire.

I have on my iPad the US wiring diagram that has the dimmer wiring included. It looks simple enough to do. When I get home ill put a copy of it up.

It is part of the air conditioning system. Do you have a air con button in your landy?. If you do then the compressor was probably taken out as it was knackered. But it is nothing to worry about, not all freelander had air con.

Ahh so it is. Looking at the picture on a bigger screen I can now see it clearly.

Defiantly looks like the a/c compressor wire and that looks like the a/c compressor in the photo to.

Just ordered calliper slider pins and ebc green brake pads.

I have a dimmer switch, it is on the right hand side of the steering wheel. It does not work though there is no wires coming from the back of it. I think last owner hoped it would just be a plug and play thing. The dimmer switch from what I can make out is for the US model.

Try eBay there is usually loads.

Here you go. Looks like someone has done a conversion or the stud of the old ariel is stuck in. A pair of pliers might help in this case.

Thanks for the replies. For what the price is ill get I new set of pins. As I now need new pads as a result of the uneven ware ill give them a bit of a service while I am at it. Thanks guys.

I know how you feel. I ordered a genuine marque back box and got a bosal instead. Phoned up to see if it was a mistake and got told no mistake and a excuse the bosal make exhausts for land rover.

I and a few others have put in led strip light. I got a 32 led in the back and plumbed into the rear door courtesy light, and now it is nice and bright. I also put in a moded festoon bulb which has a LEDs fitted to it. I think it was 16. So now the front bit of the landy is nice and bright.

No they don't light up.
