Who on here was looking for another set of grey light caps, I think is was someone doing a HID conversion. Anyway I have a set if still needed.

This sounds familiar this wobble thing. Turns out to be the NSF inner drive shaft joint. The grease had completely perished and the joint wore out. So much so that when the shaft was pulled out one of the three bearing just fell off.

Ok I'm going to have to investigate more. I don't think it smell of diesel though, but then again I did not smell it.

Thanks guys. I'll go with the oil pump idea. Main reason being I can only do the work at the caravan so may need to use the car quickly for EG need milk for a cuppa and you know that can't wait :). Any recommendation on oil make. Again thanks for the replies.

I have an electric oil pump and I thought would it be ok to suck the oil out and just top up with new. Or is it best to take the plate off ? Ta Marty PS I ment rear diff :)

My compressor is working IE The clutch engages and spins but no increase of pressure and I suppose if you have no pressure the fans won't kick in. I could be wrong about that but I think that is how it works.

Sounds like the compressor it not working, I think. I have the same problem. Took it to halfords and had it checked and regased, worked ok for about 8 months then jousts stopped. System has pressure and compressor clutch wheel engages but no cool air. It I put a gauge on it the pressure does not...

Mod I have done, folding wing mirrors, heated seats, rear parking sensors, front a frame, chrome tubular side bars, driving light pods, touch screen radio, light guards, LED interior lights. If I have done more I can't remember right now. :)

Maybe the relay under the seat has had it.

Mine was the same also. Use a small file as mentioned and it will be alright.
