15 quid for the part on ebay, just need to find out where its located - i think its just a case of swapping the parts & bleeding air out - wait for more replies tho as it could b the master cylinder, hope this has helped 1991 disco 200tdi

Should imagine its the same as most bonnets - u are right loosen the four bolts but not too much or it will move again when u open it to tighten them up - it that doesent work try pushing the bonnet over when its open & supported - slightly bending the hinges 1991 disco 200tdi

yeah you could be right there C/M lol - or just buy them mot,d & sell it 12months later - aint a great fan of welding - even have a mate willing to do the job but im a bit fussy & will want to cut out all the rust & not just do what it needs for mot - will there be anything left ??? it will end...
