Got some rocksliders to go on my disco 1 and it has no brackets to go from sliders to outrigger on chassis. I have got some 6mm steel plate to make some but i need to no how deep they are from the bottom to the top. Ive tried offering them up then cut to much off

Is battery full charge. Is starter lazy my 300tdi had the same issue i spent weeks changing all the fuel system as starter was a decent 1 but it was lazy hanged starter and fired up straight away so may be worth a try

With 2nd hand the rears could be drooping due to wear n tear. I bought a new kit with springs n shocks and mine sits level might be worth getting a new set of springs

Gas shocks will open up again. And springs are fat coils are rear skinny on front

Gt a 54mm internal flexi then itl go outside of your down pipe vlamp it and away you go

The kickdown ends inside the suto box and isnt a right nice job to do. So hope it is spring for you and easy fix

Do whatever you think it needs to be strong enuf then some. Id fit the pipe with the doors shut and maybe go a bit below just to save any fouling of the doors For the hi lift id cut a hole in the slider and fit some pipe in it that your hi lift attachment will slot in

Ive just dun my sills with froggatts easy on panels and i must admit i wouldnt do it again. I must admit the panels are brilliant quality but then the amount i had to cut away was more than the panel needed to bite to so ended u fabbin a floor and more hassle so id go with box if i did them again

Y did he remove the thermostat in the 1st place must av b8j overheating and he removed it to keep it flowing thru. Id get head pressure tested. And check everything to do with the system rad pipes and make sure its bled

Picked up and gitted new prop all is good now. Cheers fot the help guys

Yea wheel weights are all on still checked swivels and hub bearings no play on either. Grabbed front prop with both hands and cant move front uj but rear 1 is like doin the dad dance. So as im on holiday with basic tools ive sourced a 2nd hand prop to get changed

Prop uj seems be only thing loose

Have had these thres on for 7000 miles and been fine just last 80 miles with caravan on has caused this judder. So will be aving a day on blocks tomoz and be checking everything and see whats going on. As it feels like pass side but will check all 4 startinh at front

Will try this cheers paul would this cause my judder then over 50 mph. I can feel a slight vibe thru steering wheel nothing death wobble style but enuf to notice.only when van was on nothing since dropping van

If i remove the king pin to get a shim out and bearing collapses is it goin be a pain for me. Il whip it off and av a look at bearing. Do i take entire hub and see of just tighten it up on the nuts and lock tabs
