checked diff and transfer bx oil levels. getting a clunky grind like a skip lorry trying to find reverse but it's only occasionally when dipping the clutch to roll to a stop. any ideas as I am really confused

attacked my handbrake yesterday to find there was no need for the new shoes as the current ones have plenty of meat and are clean and dry. the fitting kit was wrong and it still sticks on. thinking its a crud filled linkage from cable to the rod so now need to get that cleaned up.

got under it to belt the handbrake drum with a copper hammer. think yesterdays puddle splashing had got some water in it that had froze solid during the night had to go to low range to get it to move the first time then it did it again so used a copper hammer to persuade it to release properly...

siliconed the snorkel 'repair' elbow. why do people cut the top elbow off snorkels just to replace with gutter pipe? can't really complain as I got it for free

wired up the 300tdi rear bumper lights to brakes and indicators now to put led bulbs in them aswell and that should stop the trailer light flashing with the indicators

well all laning was postponed but had to get a new rear bumper as mine was a little more rotten than i was aware of and both bumper corners had been attacked at work this week so got a pretty clean 300 one so now I just want to make the lights the clear ones and use one for extra reverse/work...

fitted new rear bumper and got the passenger doors working properly. damn lock springs. then fund my mate a spare door handle as he snapped his and then found that his lock spring had died aswell so had to pull one out of a spare mech to sort his aswell. still didn't get the mudflap bracket back...

took the passenger side rear mudflap bracket off to stop it vibrating against the exhaust after laning with 7.50x16s attacked my standard arches. this weekend will hopefully se a camal cut and the mudflap bracket reattached

may have to give it a miss and do some closer to home with my mate if I do get to go laning at all that is
