is there meant to be a stop for the windows on a D1? I think mine is going to low but it was my mate who stripped my old door as I was rebuilding it into my new door and I'm thinking I'm missing a bottom stop

jet washed mine under over and in the door shuts then got the missus in it with the carpet cleaner on the seats and carpet while I jet washed the drive to get rid of all the mud and road salt. truck and drive look alot better. shame about the road :D

another 400 miles today last time though. stil got scrap runs to do tomorrow then hopefully get her cleared out and organised again along with a jet wash under and general clean this weekend. really need to get all that road salt off asap

another 400 miles done a few more duracells sooted at. anyone on here with a black/dark blue D1 with a light bar that has waved at me while towing. seen the same one today and yesterday around bicester oxford area

drove mine 400miles. half towing 700kg car trailer the other half with an atoz on the trailer and it drank just under a tank. don't think that was too bad concidering the couple of duracell cars that I had to throw some soot at :D

I know that feeling got to get mine jetwashed cos of all the roadsalt and using it for work really isnt helping

broke down in the work D1 today lost all but 4th gear so looks like mine is back to work tomorrow. got my window back on the grip at the bottom so hopefully I have the use of my window back without needing both hands to lift it then push the button to get it closed

Been told the clutch has been changed within the last 2 years. But yes it would be changed if worn. Just need to see what the boss want to do with it as it's the works 300tdi D1 not my 200tdi D1 so I'm still good just means mine is back to being the workhorse again ��

Why would a 300tdi that was cruising at 65-70mph suddenly loose every gear except 4th? don't even have reverse. High or low the only gear that moves the Disco is 4th? There was a little pop and a shake and I thought maybe a flat tyre? Limped to the services and found I only have 4th gear. Any...

got another D1 to look after now. so started off with air and fuel filter and both axle oils changed. just need to get the engine oil and filter changed along with the box oils.
