Found my lack of boost problem. I hadn't fully tightened the intake manifold jubilee. Now back to full boost. Drives a lot easier now

went to go on my honeymoon, got 4 miles from home and my timing belt snapped. got recovered by AA and ordered a belt kit and pushrods of ebay. got it all fitted this weekend but now I have gone from 14psi boost to 10psi max most of the time the max is 8-9psi any ideas why this would be? my boost...

I had them. they fitted fine and in daylight looked a crisp white light. then it got dark and there was naff all light being projected. the led bulbs for the brakes and sidelights are good and show a good amount of light. also don't pull as much power so you have spare power to put elsewhere. or...

I'm using +6" britpart flexi's and can't fault them. it's definitely improved my brakes. as for being able to clamp them it would only be the bodge me home that would bother me. maintainance wise it would just force me to both my ass to do a full job and keep the fluid in good condition

I've just polybushed my D1 200tdi and had to splay the brackets on the axles slightly. also used the bushing grease supplied on the face of the bushes then used my bottle jack to slide them home. the grease stopped the bush crumpling up and the jack made it so much easier to align the bolt holes

Nothing today but did get her fully polybushed yesterday. Just hoping it'll cure the knocking and the wandering steering

Got the polybush set fitted. Took it for a drive and had rear steer. Re checked the bolts and found a couple had settled. Torqued them back up and called it a night. Should drive a lot smoother now with no more clunking and rear steer
