Update - Changed the Injector O rings and Seals as well as the Injector Loom - ran a little better for a while (not used very often) then as going down dual carrageway I had a total loss of power and would not start again !! Its now in the hands of a local very good but expensive Land Rover...

Ive lined the floor, sides and roof of my 110 - I rivoted all the ply in place and then got some cheap cord carpet and used spray adesive to stick it to ply. Worked a treat and looks alright aswell !!

I bought a 110 from him several years back, never had any issues with him. The Landy did need a fair bit of work once I got local specialist to look at it tho !!

Ok will try this tomorrow and see how it gets on !!

Thats my next place - I checked the injector loom and that has oil in the connectors so Im going to replace that along with the injector O rings and seals. Hopefully fingers crossed that will solve the problems !

Found the 'How To' for the injectors - I shall have that to hand tomorrow. So with MAF unplugged it will be ok to drive without causing damage to the engine - I shall try it unplugged and see how it performs.

What would happen if there was not MAF connected at all ?? Ive just found that even tho my 110 is registered in Nov 2011 it has the 15p engine !

I have a 2001 TD5 110 that appears to have developed intermittent power losses and flat spots. Only really noticed when I have my trailer on, which is a triple axle 7m 3.5t box trailer. It appears a little beter but still has intermitant flat spots - going to look MAF sensor tomorrow and the injector loom.

Ive cleaned the sensor that is under the engine cover (not sure what its called) but that was in a bit of a mess to say the least and Ive blanked off the EGR, it appears to have alot more go in it now - the test will be when I tow the trailer again on Sunday !!
