£170 + VAT for an RF reciever from landrover, is there no one else that does them? seems a bit steep :(

Good to know Do you know where I can buy the latest RF for the car and Im thinking of also going down the solar powered route to trickle charge the battery, as I'm at work at mo,does the 12 v cig lighter connection work when the car is switched off as thats how they appear to work ? :D

Hi Guys battery charged , got the keycode lock out on the dash, cured that, car starts :) I did disconnect the blue wire from the rf,is this not the fix for waking up the BECM? and if not what is the cure as its getting me down :(

Thanks guys, I will give it a charge and let you know the outcome. however I have already disabled the rf in the rear of the car so mebbe its something else draining the battery?

car is 11 years old , dont know if bags were ever changed. do bags have to be changed as a pair? as it seems to go right down at the back. what are the best bags , I have seen some Dunlop ones on ebay for £70 each, are these any good?

if the heating goes off in the car , this is a sure sign of a cracked block (along with all other symptons) I got my block lined, problem solved but pricey

I had something very similiar, however the heating in the car also stopped when the engine overheated, do you have that problem?

Hi Guys Drove the car, parked it unp ad opened the boot, 4 hours later car still up, closed boot. next morning car still up. Drove next day ,parked up and car was down in about 30 mins Does a valve close when boot is open to prevent car dropping ? if so maybe this valve isnt working during...

Hi Have a P38, 4.6 and 75% of the time when I park the car the car lowers down, is this normal? when i start the car up it levels up in a bout 30 - 60 secs any advice will be welcome :) thanks Phil

Hi all taking the engine out of my 4.6 LPG, should I do anything else while it is out , engine being removed due to over heating, maybe something to do with heater matrix?? any advice would be appreciated Phil

head gaskets are fine so am now in a quandary, from turner engineering - short block + additional bits £2500 + VAT - full engine + additional bits £ 3000 + VAT turner also want old engine in exchange Autopost engineering - short block £1950 + VAT...
