    Think you have already stolen my thunder there by mentioning the fuel pump, that would have been number 1 for me. What about a replacement hub, couple of ABS sensors, fuel pressure regulator and injector wiring harness? Just a few suggestions SP ;)

    Now all sorted... found a fellow owner with Nanocom Whole process was very easy and incredibly straight forward and took a matter of minutes Pedal now as it should be, lots of air from brake lines confirming my original suspicions Very pleased with the results... thanks all for the info...

    Cheers mate.... yes i was hoping to play :o I probably will do it manually over the weekend, just wanted to see the kit in action thats all. I have never used it, but i can see the benefits of having one, even just for the diagnostics side of things, might save me a fortunate in the long run. SP

    I have a small pipe bender that i use as part of my job (plumber) It does microbore tubing from memory i think its 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm. They are freely available from b&q etc and are cheap as chips You could borrow mine if you are near? SP ;)

    Yikes... i think you may need to take a pic, it should run across from nearside to offside to be effective and are located right at the front of the axle, are you sure it isn't the radius arm you can see? SP ;)

    Its a pity you are not a little bit nearer... My 2001 TD5 ES has had the ACE removed professionally and i must say, it handles quite well. You would have been more than welcome to try and compare it to yours If you need any pics or advice, just ask, i'll see what i can do SP ;)

    Thanks for the info... as i say, i am familiar with the method you describe and have used it many times before, however, i was keen to see just how good/easy it was using the above kit.     Spell needed for Wrong Radio Code!!!

    Some older radios used to have to be left turned on for a given period of time, before you could enter the correct code. It may require you sitting with the car for a while with the power on to the unit. SP ;)
