    Driving lights

In an older topic re this I've already posted a picture of the daytime driving lights I mounted on my car. Some adjustments still to be figured out re the exact height adjustments but that will be done soon I hope.

    RR problem with trailer (swings/oscilates).

Looking at some pics of a P38 it might be it's such one and not a classic as mentioned. Think the car is some 5 or 6 years old. Probably it's like Saint.V8 says as once a trailerplug is plugged in the height level isn't working anymore.

    RR problem with trailer (swings/oscilates).

Thanks for the info. I know this kind of kit exists as I used to tow a caravan in the past, will tell him about, I hadn't thought of it at all. Thanks again. As for the badly loaded trailer, it's a specially designed trailer for cartransport, don't see what can be wrong with that ?;) Also if...

    RR problem with trailer (swings/oscilates).

Hi all, Being a member of the Freelander section I never had a look at this RR site but now I did as I have a question regarding the behaviour of a mate's RR TDV6. He's owner of a tyrecenter and every now and then he has to drive with a flatbed trailer loaded with a customer's car on it. When he...

    Have I damaged my engine?

If it's an injector it's just coïncidence as the injectors are not in contact with the intake air. As the airfilter was not properly fitted it might be the dust and who knows sand which was sucked up and has attacked the valves, pistons, the entire inside of the combustionchambers ?? Hope not...

Lucky you, that's the reason why I said it might have been a coïncidence.

    performance air filter td4

I fitted a K&N filter back in 2002 or so and a couple of weeks later my MAF was gone, might be the oil in the filter which was too much for the maf, however on the K&N site they say it's impossible. Anyway since then I just oil it (the filter) very sparsely and no more problems anymore. Maybe it...

    Egr Blanking Mod

As far as I know I was the first to mention that starving duck noise. I heard once a funny noise, it was hardly to hear, but by the time I was out of the car it was stopped. Therefore I took the habit when arriving at home, in the garage, to open the bonnet before I shut down the engine and...

    Which Fuel Pump?

For me it looks as the pump is on it's way to the scrapyard. When there is no whining to hear it probably is not working and thus not whining and thus not providing fuel as as it should ? Just my idea of course.

To avoid the starving duck noise you might think of blocking the departing tube of the vacuum rather than the arrival at the solenoid?

    2 stroke oil in diesel

Get a big grin on your face, each time she drives along. When she asks what's so amusing tell her it's the added driving pleasure after having the synergy installed. Tell her also that the engine loves the extra power and will last much longer now.:p

    Bulkhead drain pipe water

The more humidity in the air the more drainwater you'll find. As these last days it's almost tropical weather it means a lot of drained water.

when i switch engine off ?

Isn't that the noise of the ECU cooling fan you hear ?? Sorry, misread, when it's the outside pipe it's the FBH. I was thinking of the noise of a fan you can hear on the inside, on the passenger (rhd) side of the car.

If it's best to have the pipe plugged, to avoid a loose hanging end of a vacuum pipe, removing that pipe completely is not the solution I'm afraid, better block the arrival pipe of the vacuum, near the plastic T-connector near the brakevacuum unit. That way the solenoide won't work anymore and...

    Belgian humour.

Well, I'm these days watching that program "Road wars" about the special intervention team of the Thames Valley police (I think) and I must say that I am surprised by the reactions of, especially, the youngsters and some of the olders as well, the way they speak and react on the police is...
