Yes, i have held each of the two types. The p38 i looked at had 6 wires. The D2 had 9 both So as SF has now informed is there are varieties thete as well, then without effectively totally rewiring and possibly re-postioning contacts it's a no go. I waas actually hoping to finish up owning two...

Hi Ron, Do you use your aircon much? A friend with skinny arms ( who will be taking mine off ) added a section of tubing to his so it drips below the car.

Wouldthat be the only difference? Thinking is it the same wiring other than the connector? I can get one for sod all and am wondering if changine connectors might work then Also seen a new one for a 5 speed box for 30 quid. I really am wondering why we d2 owners pay so much 8(
