P38A Reverse lamp, electrickery knowledgeable peeps, what do you think?

Brilliant! Never occurred to me to use the trailer wiring. I've got the socket on the back but don't know if I've got a reverse feed there or is it somewhere else on all 38's regardless?. I did redo the socket 3 yrs ago as it was a rusty mess and it works fine towing a trailer but I didn't know...

P38A Reverse lamp, electrickery knowledgeable peeps, what do you think?

Can't see much when reversing in the dark, replacement led bulbs from halfords a bit better but still poor. I've spotted a durite(usually good quality stuff)reverse lamp that will fit quite neatly under the rear bumper for around £30. 6" wide, 1" high, 1"deep. Screenshot of the spec below. Bit...

P38 new problem with abs and traction fault

For what it's worth...I've fitted rear abs sensors to the front on my 2001. Two front aftermarket sensors failed within 12 months so I got a pair of rear secondhand wabco ones off a breaker and the differance is in the cable length (bit shorter)but they still reach. Rears, as we all know, tend...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Yes. Weirdly she ran well as long as the tank was 1/2 full or more. When I saw the gunk I thought maybe the pump was OK but a test showed it to be dead.

    Range rover p38 2.5

It's easier with the manifold off for sure. The long one is a fiddle but if you reach round over? the fip with your right hand guiding the pipe with your left it's doable. Had to do that twice on mine.

    Range rover p38 2.5

It is 3.2mm inside diameter. The same tubeing is used from the inlet manifold to the map sensor(on the fuel filter housing) that one rots too. Its a bit of a bugger to do with the inlet manifold on, I take it off but in this weather and with your limited knowledge? Some of the manifold nuts are...

    How strong is the roof?

Sorry, only just seen the reply. Doors, bulkhead and seatbox disconnected and me and a mate removed the 110 van body. Wheels were off so it was lift-shunt-lift shunt etc until it reached the balance point at the rear of the chassis and was then tipped up on its end and shuffled out the way. The...
