What did you do with your Range Rover today

Pulled the rear wheel arch liners and sills ooff to check the risk of rust in the mud trap. Pleasantly surprised. No rust in the arches, Still gave it a good cover of hammerite in the places known to collect mud and crap , plus a bit on the small stone chips on the wheel arch return edge and...

    Terrafirma lowered springs

I have a great dislike for TF kit , having had their +5" adjustable shocks fail on me in a very short time, and their soft shackles fail in a dangerous manner. So I am not surprised that their springs are also dodgy. Have you contacted Maltings?, as they are normally pretty good. Cheers

    Daves D2 TD5 Project

No way, I changed my D2 td5 for a TDV8 4.4 RR. They were almost the same, just change over the number plates. you will be sweet. If it is a Vogue SE / Autobiog he may miss the cooled seats, but it is going into Winter, so chances are it will be Spring before he tries to press that button. Cheers

    Immobiliser Issue...possibly?

I would recommend this one, some of the cheaper kits have smaller contacts. https://x8r.co.uk/land-rover-discovery-td5-2-5-diesel-full-denso-solenoid-starter-motor-repair-kit.html The starter is not that bad if you undo the top nut last and pull the starter out as you undo it. Get an...
