    Defender Front Brake Disc Replacement

Waht sort of driving does your Mum do? How long since they were last changed. As you can imagine there are lots of questions, for example, my 90 spends a lot of time knee deep in mud and water. So I tend to have to change bearings and seals more than most. If it is a road car, then you can...

    Defender Front Brake Disc Replacement

Why not go all in and change the bearings as well?, I would at least check them . Check the surfaces of the bearing races, Plus I would check the stub axles to make sure they have a good running surface for bearings and the seals. Depends on how the motor is used . Cheers

    Defender Front Brake Disc Replacement

I have seen some that have the bracket that holds the brake pipe held across both the top 17mm bolts on top of the swivel housing, Just be careful to undo one at a time to avoid losing the swivel oil. None of it is rocket science, just take minute to think about it. Cheers

    Defender Front Brake Disc Replacement

iirc, it is 1/2" or 13mm, I have its a lottery to which one fits best on certain caliper bolts. WSM wise, do a search for rave manual download, but you can always use the good old haynes manual. Cheers

    Defender Front Brake Disc Replacement

Get a copy of the rave workshop manual. Make sure you have the correct sockets, 12 points for the brake caliper.. use the wheel to undo the disc from the hub. Cheers

Just hang it from the spring or sit it somewhere safe, I use a bungee to hold it in place. Cheers

    L322 Nanocom +L322

Yep , I understand what you are saying. But I looked at it and decided with the big cash outlay the extra for a good diagnostics was worth it. I have never tried the nanocom evo with the L322 and would like to, but I just did not get the feeling it was 100%. But I may be wrong. For me the...

    L322 Nanocom +L322

Personally, I have a nanocom for a D2, which I could have upgraded, But for the L322 (2011 4.4 Tdv8) I chose to just buy the GAP IID BT tool. I find the GAP is not as intuitive, but it does work well with the car. Plus it is always being updated. Cheers

This is why giving vehicle info is useful when you post an issue. I had to look at our profile to see you had an 87' 110. Whihc is why I questioned you having a salisbury. Cheers

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I just had an oil and filter change, but from what I understand a flush is a good idea if the person doing the flush knows what they are doing. Cheers

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I like the fact it is recommended to boot it every now and then to make sure the oil clears from the second turbo pipework.:D:D Cheers
