tried moving the linkage where it goes into the gear box with screwdriver hammer and pliers it only moves around 15 degress.

All of a sudden when driving my transer box jumped out of gear and will not go back into hi or low range. It just makes a horrible noise. Have taken the transmission tunnel off and the gear linkage looks ok good movement but where it goes into the transfer box the link hardly moves...

Am doing almost exactly that route tomorrow

Depending on when and where could be up for it. Am based in bucks but the lanes in west Berkshire are better
