Bought my 1980 109 for £200 as sat in a meadow for 3 years, spent about £1000 Tidying it up and getting through MOT. when I bought it it was just to take off road when shooting, but now the Landy has got to me. Still need a new full canvas. Question is where to stop!

Thanks divie, self tappers it is then, easiest solution as well.

Hi Guy's and Gals, does any one know what the correct thread is for the front valance panel screws on a series 3 should be, don't think they are self tappers as seen on ebay!

Look on the front panel ( behind rad grill ) my one has a second id plate on it

That's a new canvas on this, why change it..... as above easy to change if you want to. Soft top a little more maintenance but I would stick with it.

Should have put ewngine is 2.25 petrol ex mod, and found traces of Duck egg Blue on manifold... any idea's if this should be heat proof and availability?

Hi All, replacing my exhaust manifold and read threads on painting finishing, but no mention if aluminium inlet manifold should /could be painted and if so what paint to use or just keep bare aluminium ...any thoughts or advise would be appreciated

Got it sorted, found answer on Davebeccles thread. new problem now found manifold cracked and broken stud...... Just wondering if there are there any jobs on Landy,s that don't lead to others

Yes rear lights will work if dip/ headlight terminations are reversed. will have a look at mine tomorrow if for colour code etc if your still having probs.

Help Please...after completing a few repairs I.ve come to refit the wings near side fine held onto the front panel with a couple of strips/plates with 3 and 2 studs attached to bolt wing on. Is the offside held on the same or separate bolts and bonnet stay bracket stepped away from wing?.or have...
