I tell you, it's the broadsheets, red tops, loacal weekly, Autotrader and Exchange & Mart all rolled into one, I sold my old Discovery in last weeks edition. Theres even a crossword and sudoku ffs!
I'm sure you can as long as you have wireless on the old one and the sharing set to allow the CD drive on the other laptop to be shared on an ad-hoc network.
Christ! I came over all techy there. :5bconehead:
I use Macs but believe it's fairly simple on Windows.
The web site is Penguin News news, politics, jobs, sports and events from the Falkland Islands
I'll try and get some pics on here as well tonight, as my work computer is sh*t!!
Sorry I couldn't resist.
The difference in the height of the tyre may have thrown the height sensor out. I think I read a thread on here saying that you can reset the sensors by moving them through their full range or something. I'll have a look for you.
That's the plan, the Extreme should be here in another week or so, and I cannot wait. I feel an ad in the local Penguin News (I kid you not) paper coming on.
P38's R Us
For all your P38 needs in the South Atlantic.
Has your P38 RR got a problem? Can nobody in the Islands help...
I've spent the week pulling 90's and 110's out of the snow here, much to the embarrassment of their drivers when they see that I don't even have off road tyres on as they do.
Smug? You bet I was.
You can also send your head unit off to Clarion in Melksham (nr Swindon) who, for £100, will fully refurb it and add in an iPod/MP3 connection. Apparently they turn the unit round in 24 hours before posting it back. They also just do a refurb for £75.
I think it's just a few people who can't appreciate good quality sound systems who are giving these guys sh*t. I would want to sort my HK system out if it went wrong, hell I would do it just for the aesthetics of the cabin. Nothing worse than these flash after market systems in quality...
I remember seeing a thread on here about these exact symptoms. In that case the tyres were found to be warped and not round. I think the guy took the wheels off in turn and had them checked. Do a search for tyres and see if you can find the thread. May not be the problem, but might be worth...
Silly question, but is the handbrake on when you try to get access mode? In both my 4.0 and 4.6 it won't budge until the handbrake is on.
Just a thought
I take it you mean the Digital Sound Processor???
This can be found behind the left hand side panel in the boot, the one which houses the CD changer.
:welcome2:
Ah i see what you did there, we have a foot of snow on the ground at the moment which is much better than rain. Mind you the snow is pants as the aircraft has been cancelled with all the post on it:mad:. But hey it just heightens the anticipation of getting my Extreme.
Try changing your plug leads, they often detiorate over time and only malfunction under load i.e. when accelerating. I would change these first as they are only £25 ish on P38spares.co.uk
Try the link below, there are several sets on the page for various prices.
