I wouldn't. A winch is a fairly complicated bit of kit, and if you start strapping extras on the side of it you increase the chance of it failing, plus to me the extras are only there to entice the buyer to buy something that isn't really fit for purpose in the first place.

Yes it does! 40° slope, park nose up with heater on full, and it drained the header tank! :eek: Quick refill and loosen of the bleed screw, and no bubbles coming out. Finally have heat coming out of the upper vents, and no more gurgling from the dash. Score!

I wonder if it would be worth parking the nose up a steep slope or ramp, so that the heater matrix is lower than the rad top? Hmm, mine's gurgling AND there's a suitable slope nearby. Think I'll give it a try...

It has an OBD shaped socket, doesn't mean that the various computers used the full OBDII protocol. The D2 predates the requirement for OBDII compatibility. The protocols are indeed proprietary, you need one of the specific readers (Testbook, Hawkeye, Nanocom or Lynx).

Given the environmental regulations here, oil changes always go to a garage for me. It's just too much hassle to get rid of the old oil.

The 4.0 in my D2 Auto is more economical than the 3.5 in my 110 Manual was, despite the heavier vehicle, auto 'box and use of Cruise Control. The ECU has better control of the fuel than the carb ever did.

Well, there's front and rear fader too. But I think you are probably right, it seems unlikely that even a Harmon/Kardon amp would be wired for Surround in a vehicle :)

Yes That I can neither confirm nor deny. But I would say the woofer on the rear door would be the centre.

I honestly don't known it's tosh or not :). I asked because that's the setup I have, and I'll be very happy if it is genuinely surround.
