Find the feed for the dash lights and check that voltage to make sure you doing things correctly. Once you have a live & earth, keep probe on the earth & check the plug outputs for power. You could also check the removed loom lights with a bit of power off the battery if you have confidence

    Handbrake differences

Looking at that, its even more simple. Calliper looks like it’s on sliders(make sure it’s not seized) Check lever is actuating the piston(unsure if there are any other moving parts) Tighten up the handbrake cable

You did check voltage when you put the headlights on? (Just checking) Do your dash lights work? Thought they would be on the same power supply.

Cable goes onto a lever, it’s that part that you strip down. I normally take middle seat out and do this from above. 2 lock nuts undo and slide it all apart. The lever with them holes has a locater. Note which hole it uses & lever location angle. When you strip it down make sure you don’t lose...

If you can convert these to gpx files it will be good. I have gone looking/verifying lanes on the Motobike and had no worries & chatted with a few gate owners. Turn up in a 4x4 and they forgot who you are.
