What did you do with your Range Rover today

Refitted all the electrical boxes in the rear left after water ingress caused issues. Replacement Sat nav now has a light and radio/cd etc has sound and mode changes etc work but but radio screen is still dead. Suspect the telly box in the back may be dead so second hand from ebay is now on...

No, the solid lines are shot as are the flexi's. I've left it with the garage to quote for the work. They are a garage I've used for about 20 years. Good as gold and no bull. I'm in no rush so will probably just let them do it at their own speed. Plus they'll be in a nice warm workshop on a 4...

2004 Range Rover Radio, Sensors & Internal Indicator Lights Not Working

Just dismembered my entertainment system from the car due to water damage! Indicator telltale inop and stereo not working. As soon as I started taking the sat nav unit out, when it tipped sideways it discharged a load of water straight into the units below! Once all removed the indicators were...

    L322 Trans Failsafe

I have the same issue. Not driven the car for a few weeks since. To try to resolve this I intend to check the diagnostics for any stored faults, then I'll check oil for level and condition in the gearbox and then will probably change transmission oil cooler, filter and oil and the oil cooler...

Freelander 1 BGA aftermarket K series head gasket, quality issue - AVOID

I'm astounded that in this day and age anyone is still selling head gaskets of that construction. The modern (but been around for 20 years plus) Multilayer steel gaskets are much better. In my line of work I can probably count on the fingers of one hand the intances of failure and they are...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Not today but yesterday; took my 4.4 V8 to a small company called LPGIT in Leicester to have the knackered BRC vapouriser replaced and get it running again on LPG. The chaps there fitted a Magic 3 vapouriser as the old square block BRC ones are no longer made and they dont recommend the later...

    L322 2003 4.4 V8 petrol (M62) LPG Condenser problem

Hi all, My 2003 4.4 V8 petrol (BMW M62) has a serious problem with coolant leaking from the BRC Genius condenser unit. It is of the old black type. I split it apart to replace the gaskets which were very fubarred and the aluminium body was corroded and a bit crumbly. I cleaned as best I...

L322 vogue rear quarter material thickness

Totally agree with putting in something a bit thicker as 1) I only really wat to do this once and 2) I want the vehicle to be as strong as it should be afterwards too! We'e got a vehicle replacement panel supplier near here that I went to a few years ago to get some stuff to fix the sills on...
